Hi, I’m Justin Wong. VB Wire is basically a place for me to share the financial stories, trends, and ideas I’ve been reading about.

I’ve always liked researching things. When something is happening in markets, business, or the economy, I usually end up going down a bit of a rabbit hole: reading articles, looking at numbers, comparing opinions, and trying to figure out what actually seems worth paying attention to. This site is an extension of that habit.

VB Wire is pretty much just me, reading, thinking, and sharing what I’ve found. Sometimes that means writing about a big financial news story. Sometimes it means looking at a trend or something. Sometimes it’s just a topic I got curious about and wanted to understand better.

A lot of financial media can feel either too serious or too high level. I’m more interested in sorting through it all and trying to make sense of it.

So that’s really what this site is: one person’s ongoing effort to keep up with financial news, think through it carefully, and put those thoughts into words.
